Why We Only Feature the Best Pickleball Facilities in the U.S.
If you’re simply looking for the closest pickleball court, there are plenty of websites and apps that can point you in the right direction. They’re great at answering the question, “Where can I play pickleball?” But that’s not the question we set out to answer.
At Best Pickleball Facilities, we believe the more interesting—and more valuable—question is, “Where is the best place to play?”
That’s why we take a different approach.
Destination-Worthy Pickleball Facilities/Courts
Instead of trying to build the largest directory of pickleball courts in United States, we focus on the country’s most exceptional pickleball destinations. We highlight facilities that look to deliver an outstanding player experience—places with beautiful courts, premium amenities, welcoming communities, thoughtful design, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay long after your last game.
Our goal has never been to list every park, recreation center, or gymnasium with painted pickleball lines. Those facilities serve an important purpose, and many introduce thousands of new players to the sport every year. But our mission is different. We celebrate the clubs and venues that have gone above and beyond to create something special.
Some players will drive an extra hour to experience a world-class facility. Others will build an entire vacation around visiting one of the country’s premier pickleball facilities. Tournament players often seek out the best places to train while they’re traveling, and business travelers frequently have just one opportunity to play in a new city. Those players don’t simply want to know where pickleball exists—they want to know which facility is worth their limited time.
Great Facilities Deserve to be Recognized
Every facility we feature is selected because it offers something beyond a collection of courts. Maybe it’s an impressive indoor complex with many championship-quality courts. Maybe it’s a resort where you can spend a weekend playing, relaxing, and enjoying first-class hospitality. Perhaps it’s a beautifully designed club with excellent lighting, professional instruction, a vibrant social calendar, outstanding food and beverage options, or amenities that create an unforgettable experience both on and off the court.
As the sport continues its incredible growth, more entrepreneurs, clubs, and municipalities are investing in pickleball than ever before. Many are creating truly remarkable destinations that deserve attention—not only for their court count, but for their innovation, customer experience, and commitment to growing the game. We want to shine a spotlight on those venues and help players discover them.
Our Philosophy: Quality Over Quantity
Rather than overwhelming you with thousands of listings, we carefully curate facilities that meet a higher standard. We spend time researching venues, gathering photos, learning about amenities, and sharing the details that matter most to players. Our growing collection isn’t intended to be exhaustive—it’s intended to be exceptional.
In many ways, we’re less like a phone book and more like a trusted travel guide.
Imagine planning a golf trip. You probably wouldn’t search for every golf course in the US. You would want recommendations for courses that are memorable, scenic, highly rated, and worth the journey. The same is true for skiing, mountain biking, fishing, or fine dining. People naturally seek the best experiences, not the longest list.
We believe pickleball deserves that same level of curation.
Discover Memorable Pickleball Facilities
Whether you’re planning a cross-country pickleball road trip, looking for an unforgettable weekend getaway, searching for a premium club to join, or simply curious about the finest facilities in the country, our mission is to help you discover places you’ll remember long after the final point has been played.
At Best Pickleball Facilities, we’re building more than a directory—we’re building a trusted resource for players who appreciate exceptional places to play. Because while anyone can tell you where pickleball courts are located, we want to help you find the places that are truly worth the trip!
